Twilight Fiancée

momo06 She's here and she's so worth it. Read on...

momo01 She's really pretty cool for someone who dresses like your grandma. I'm so glad I sprang for her. People have said she's styled after Audrey Hepburn and that's true, but she looks a lot like young Judy Garland. I haven't though of a name. Maybe just, "Audrey". Suggestions?

The belt and sunglasses aren't part of her stock. The skirt and blouse are separate pieces. The blouse is a satin one piece, like a bathing suit. She has the nicest super pointy toe high heels. Growing up, I was always afraid I would have to wear suits and shoes like these. I never did in the end. Better her than me!

She has subtle areas of blush that don't really show on these pictures. On her elbows and knees, fingers and toes, and collar bones. She also has a tiny watch, but there are no hands or numerals on the face. Purely a style thing.

Dolls Spider & Princi

She's prettier than I thought she'd be. Too much for me to spend on a doll that's not quite my style though.

I was reminded of Audrey right away! She's got a classy look to her.

I never noticed her wrists were like type 3 pullip bodies..I think they look so unnatural ^^;.

Thanks. True about the bodies, but actually I like that. I like a doll that has a stylized, fake look to her. Momoko's were too realistic for me for a long time. Look at Milou.

My aversion to realism has made me immune to BJDs so far. I've saved some money that way. Ha, Sez me! I probably just spent the same money on something else.

By your comments, I'd say Garland would be a good name for her.

I think you're right! Garland it is.

Giving girls a last name for their first name is kind of an east coast, upper crusty thing to do. Typically they are named after some rich relative. I heard of a woman who's first name was Brown. Imagine! I'd rather be named Apple.
