Cat has been very busy. Not that it is new news... but it is busy, stressful and completely overwhelming. I don't think things will slow down anytime soon. So if I haven't responded to e-mails lately or even since November, it is because of the things that have been happening in my life. Nothing bad... just stress stress stress. Lots of new things, old things, things happening with work... etc etc etc.

So for now I'm taking a break from internet things... I will try my best to respond to e-mails... but if I don't respond to things right away, I'm really sorry! I will try my best. I do apologize to anyone that may be offended, but I don't do it on purpose.

Thanks for understanding. I send you all hugs and love for this holiday and the New Year.

So the materials for the Color Choice Orders are here! I should be shipping them out Wednesday ^_^ So definitely earlier than anticipated! Once they're shipped out, I'll re-open the color choice orders, to be delivered some time in January. This the way I should have gone in the beginning apparently!

I've also moved all the old news to the archive board!

I just received in a full pelt of milk and black magic! Along with some Kalua, porcelain, Milk Chocolate, honey, and carrot. So I will be listing those tonight or tomorrow!
If there are any color requests please let me know! I will be placing another order in a few weeks, I'm thinking coco, chocolate, salted lime, glacier, and Hot cherry.

You all remember the Blythe Tweedledee (aka DeeDee) and Tweedledum (aka DumDum) that I mentioned on Friday? Well :3 I got so amped I started on DumDum today :D She's our blue afro cutie and she'll be all in blues. Normally I don't sketch anymore but since the card suit shapes are a little unruly I did sketch those out first.



After that I started painting the outlines white and worked on the lips. Each girl is only going to have paint on half of her face with the other totally blank, so DumDum all on the right and DeeDee all on the left. That means the lips are going to be divided too and I'm doing this fun stripe thing on the bottom lip that I'm all excited over ;3 Yeah, I'm a dork ...

For those curious DumDum was a Simply Lilac and DeeDee is, for the moment, a Simply Peppermint ... also these RBL scalps are evil, evil says I!

I am a librarian, and every year we have a themed holiday tree in the lobby. The last couple of years, I've put dolls in a coordinated setup in the curio behind the tree. This year I suggested "steampunk" as the theme (hoping the official dolls would be out, ha) and the person who designs the tree went with it. (She was not too excited at first, until she started researching.) She concentrated on time and technology.

My back is ki~lllllling me. Damn that monthly visitor.

So, there's an inner corner, where the porch meets the house (all in light brown brick), with a roughly south-east exposure, behind a few holly and privet, and just around the corner from the Monster Rosemary that will Eat Us All (I adore that plant). The spot gets light from sunrise to early afternoon. I think I'd like to plant a big brambly wild type rose there. We're in the blurry area at the border of USDA Zones 6 and 7, plus I know those bricks and the shelter of the house and porch base make a distinct micro climate.

Does anyone have any suggestions for roses and suppliers?
